وَٱلَّذِى تَوَلَّىٰ كِبْرَهُ
“the one who took charge of it shall get the worst of all punishments [in the Hereafter]”

وَلَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ قُلْتُم مَّا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَن نَّتَكَلَّمَ بِهَٰذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَٰذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ
“If only you had said upon hearing it (the slander), "How can we speak about such a thing! Glory be to You [O Lord]! This is a heinous slander!"”
Praises Abu Ayyub al-Ansari RA's response upon hearing the slander.
“Do not let the people of virtue and affluence among you swear to suspend donations to their relatives, the needy, and the emigrants in the Cause of Allah. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love to be forgiven by Allah? And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
Revealed after Abu Bakr RA swore to stop his sadaqa to Mistah RA over the slander.
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments except what normally appears. Let them draw their khimar over their chests”
Modesty legislation revealed as part of Surah An-Nur alongside the Ifk verses.
“If any of those [bondspeople/slaves] in your possession desire a deed of emancipation [i.e., want to purchase their own freedom], make it possible for them if you find goodness in them”
