لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ
“You have your way, and I have my Way.'”
This ayah is part of Surah al-Kafirun, revealed -- as this event's own description states -- in response to the Quraysh's offer to alternate worship, rejecting any compromise in tawhid.
