This unnamed son of Rabi'ah ibn al-Harith RA, and so a young relative of the Prophet ﷺ, was being raised among Banu Sa'd when he was caught in their war with Hudhayl and killed. The Quraysh's unpaid blood claim for him was the first that the Prophet ﷺ cancelled in his sermon at the Farewell Hajj, beginning with his own family.
