This unnamed man was a brother of Abu Jahl and half-brother of Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah RA who went with Abu Jahl to Madinah after the Hijrah to lure Ayyash back to Makkah with a story of their grieving mother, then helped seize and bind him on the road.
