عياش بن أبي ربيعة
Ayyash ibn Abi Rabi'ah RA was an early Muslim of Makkah and a half-brother of Abu Jahl who emigrated to Madinah with Umar RA. Abu Jahl lured him back with a story about his grieving mother, then seized him on the road and imprisoned him in Makkah with Hisham ibn al-As RA. The Prophet ﷺ prayed in qunut for their rescue, and al-Walid ibn al-Walid RA brought them out. Ayyash was martyred at Yarmouk, where water passed from al-Harith ibn Hisham RA to Ikrimah RA to him, and all three died before drinking.
