Ukasha ibn Mihsan RA

Ukkashah ibn Mihsan RA was a Companion and ally of the Banu Abd Shams who fought at Badr in 2 AH. When his sword broke in the fighting, the Prophet ﷺ gave him a wooden cudgel, which became a long, strong, gleaming sword in his hand; he kept it, Ibn Ishaq says, until he was killed by Tulayha ibn Khuwaylid in the wars against the apostates. The Prophet ﷺ also prayed that he be among the seventy thousand of his community who would enter Paradise.
