ثُوَيْبَة
Thuwaybah was a slave woman freed by Abu Lahab who nursed the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Salamah RA, making them foster brothers (al-Bukhari). Urwah adds, in al-Bukhari, that after Abu Lahab's death one of his family saw him in a dream in a bad state, given a little water to drink because he had freed Thuwaybah. A popular account, not found in the sources checked, says he freed her in joy at the news of the Prophet ﷺ's birth and names the dreamer as al-Abbas RA.
