سَوَاد بن غَزِيَّة
Suwad RA, named by Ibn Ishaq as Sawad ibn Ghaziyya, an ally of the Banu Adiy ibn al-Najjar, was a Companion at Badr in 2 AH whom the Prophet ﷺ pricked in the belly with an arrow while straightening the ranks. When Suwad asked for retaliation, the Prophet ﷺ uncovered his belly, and Suwad embraced him and kissed it, saying that he might not survive the battle and wanted his skin to touch the Prophet ﷺ's.
