Sa'id ibn Jubayr

Sa'id ibn Jubayr was one of the tabi'un and the main student of Ibn Abbas RA, from whom he preserved the account of how severely the early Muslims of Makkah were tortured. Decades later he was among the tabi'un who objected when the Umayyad caliph al-Walid ibn Abd al-Malik expanded Masjid al-Nabawi and brought the graves inside it.
