سعيد بن الْمُسَيِّبِ
Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib (d. 95 AH) was one of the most knowledgeable leaders of the tabi'un and a student of Ibn Abbas RA. His father had given the Pledge of Ridwan, and when people later venerated a tree as the tree of the pledge, he said his father's generation could not identify it and asked whether these people knew better than the Companions. He also narrated that the Prophet ﷺ was born at high noon.
