The mother of Abu Hurairah RA is not named in the sources. Brought by her son to live in Madinah, she was hurt by his leaving their forefathers' religion and constantly cursed Islam and the Prophet ﷺ. When Abu Hurairah came weeping to ask for a supplication, the Prophet ﷺ prayed for her guidance, and by the time her son reached home she had bathed and declared the shahada.
