مِكْرَز بن حفص
Mikraz ibn Hafs was a man of the Quraysh who represented them around the Treaty of al-Hudaybiyyah. Sent first in haste in 6 AH, he came without a real plan, and the Prophet ﷺ told his Companions the man was wicked and nothing would come of it. He accompanied Suhayl ibn Amr in the negotiations, said the Muslims could keep Abu Jandal RA, though Suhayl refused (al-Bukhari; other reports say Mikraz took him under his protection), and witnessed the treaty for the Quraysh. In 7 AH he led the delegation that met the Muslims at Umrah al-Qada and insisted they leave Makkah when their three days were up.
