لبيد بن ربيعة
Labid ibn Rabi'ah was a very famous Arab poet. Reciting in Makkah before he was a Muslim, he said that everything besides Allah is vain, which the Prophet ﷺ later called the truest thing any poet had said, and Uthman ibn Maz'un RA agreed aloud. When Labid added that every blessing will pass, Uthman called it a lie, since Jannah never ends, and the offended crowd struck Uthman in the eye.
