حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ الْيَمَانِ
Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman RA was known as Sahib al-Sirr, the Keeper of the Secret, because the Prophet ﷺ entrusted him with the names of the hypocrites. His father al-Yaman, of the tribe of Abs, had settled in Madinah, and father and son were early Muslims. His father was killed by mistake by Muslims at Uhud. On the night of the Ahzab at Khandaq, Hudhayfah was the one sent into the enemy camp to bring back news, and on the return from Tabuk he was with the Prophet ﷺ when hypocrites tried to kill him on a mountain path.
