Ghaylan ibn Salama RA

Ghaylan ibn Salama RA was a Companion whom the Prophet ﷺ sent with Urwah ibn Mas'ud RA to the tribe of Jurash before Hunayn to learn weapons of war the Muslims had never used, among them the catapult, showing the Prophet ﷺ's foresight in preparing for the siege of Ta'if.
