Amr al-Hadrami

Amr al-Hadrami was a man of the Quraysh caravan that Abdullah ibn Jahsh RA's party attacked at Nakhla on the last day of the Sacred Month of Rajab in 2 AH, and he was killed. The Quraysh publicized his death across Arabia, and weeks later at Badr, when Utbah ibn Rabi'ah agreed to pay his blood money to avert battle, Abu Jahl roused al-Hadrami's brother to demand vengeance, and the chance of peace was lost.
