أبو دُجانة
Abu Dujanah RA was a fearsome warrior of the Ansar, known for the red "turban of death" he wore at the most extreme moments of battle. At Uhud in 3 AH he took the Prophet ﷺ's sword on condition of giving it its due, strutted before the enemy in a display the Prophet ﷺ said Allah despises except at such a time, and fought until al-Zubayr RA said he met no enemy without striking him down. He was among the warriors who killed the most of the Quraysh that day, and he withheld the sword from Hind, the wife of Abu Sufyan, rather than use it on a woman.
