عبد الله بن طارق
Abdullah ibn Tariq RA was one of the Companions betrayed at al-Raji in 4 AH, among the last three survivors who surrendered on a promise of safety and were immediately bound. Calling it the first sign of treachery, he refused to go as a prisoner and was killed on the spot, while his two companions were sold in Makkah. Scholars take from his stand that knowingly acting in a way that leads to death at an enemy's hands is not suicide.
