Abdullah ibn Qami'a was a Quraysh fighter at Uhud in 3 AH who killed Mus'ab ibn Umayr RA thinking he was the Prophet ﷺ, and then told the Quraysh that he had killed Muhammad ﷺ, spreading the false report of his death (Ibn Ishaq). Ibn Hisham also names him as the one who struck the Prophet ﷺ's cheekbone, driving two rings of his helmet into his cheek.
