Abdullah ibn Jahsh RA

Abdullah ibn Jahsh RA was a cousin of the Prophet ﷺ and brother of Zaynab bint Jahsh RA, who accepted the Prophet ﷺ's decision to marry her to Zayd ibn Harithah RA once the Qur'an addressed it. In Rajab of 2 AH the Prophet ﷺ chose him to lead a small party of Muhajirun on the Sariyya Nakhla to watch the Quraysh, with sealed orders that no one be forced to continue. His men attacked a Quraysh caravan on the last day of the Sacred Month, killing Amr al-Hadrami, and the Prophet ﷺ refused the booty until Allah revealed verses addressing the matter.
