Abdullah ibn Atik RA was a Companion of the Khazraj who, most likely in 6 AH, led the five men sent with the Prophet ﷺ's permission to kill Sallam ibn Abi al-Huqayq, the Khaybar leader who had financed the confederates at the Trench. Chosen because he spoke Khaybar's dialect, he slipped through the city gates at sunset and let the others in, and they killed Sallam while sparing his wife as commanded. He injured his foot in the escape, and the Prophet ﷺ healed it with his hand.
