A Jewish community near Khaybar. After the conquest of Khaybar, the people of Fadak sent a letter to the Prophet ﷺ agreeing to the same terms as Khaybar (half their produce to the Muslims) without any Muslim army marching against them. Because no fighting took place, its proceeds became a personal gift of Allah used by the Prophet ﷺ to support his family.
