The tribe that became custodians of the Ka'bah after intermarrying with the family of Ismail AS. Over time they grew corrupt, mistreating and stealing from the pilgrims (hujjaj), and were eventually driven out of Makkah by the Khuza'a.
Notable for: In-laws of Ismail AS through marriage; predecessors of the Khuza'a and then the Quraysh as custodians of the Ka'bah.
