One of the Extinct Arabs (al-Arab al-Ba'ida), an ancient civilization of Arabia from thousands of years before Islam, with no lineal connection to the later Arab tribes; called "Arab" only because they lived in the lands that later became Arabia.
Notable for: Mentioned in the Qur'an [e.g. Quran, 89:6-14]; eventually became extinct.
