The fortress of the Banu Harithah, an Ansari tribe. Not built to the standard of the Jewish tribes' fortresses, but the largest and most protected fortress belonging to the Ansar.
During the Battle of Khandaq the Prophet ﷺ sent the Muslim women and children here for safety while the men manned the trench.
