Zayd ibn Thabit RA

Zayd ibn Thabit RA was a young man of the Ansar who became one of the main memorizers of the Qur'an and, after the Prophet ﷺ's death, its primary compiler under Abu Bakr RA and Umar RA. He had already memorized many surahs at about eleven when the Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madinah. Turned back as underage at Uhud, he was later asked by the Prophet ﷺ to learn Hebrew and learned to read and write it in fifteen days. The structure of the Qur'an as it is held today comes from his work.
