يُوسُف
Yusuf AS was a prophet and messenger, the son of Ya'qub AS, sent to Egypt, and the Prophet ﷺ said he had been given half of all beauty. Betrayed by his brothers, whom he later forgave, and held back from temptation by a sign from his Lord, his story was revealed in full as Surah Yusuf when the Quraysh, prompted by the Jews of Yathrib, tested the Prophet ﷺ about the family of Ya'qub. He greeted the Prophet ﷺ in the third heaven on the night of al-Mi'raj. At the Conquest of Makkah the Prophet ﷺ forgave the Quraysh with Yusuf's words to his brothers: "No blame will there be upon you today."
