This unnamed youngster was a member of the delegation that included Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Aqil RA, which came to the Prophet ﷺ in the Year of Delegations. He asked, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, why don't you ask your Lord to give you a kingdom like that of Sulayman AS?" The Prophet ﷺ laughed and said that perhaps he had been given something better than Sulayman's kingdom. Allah had granted every prophet one request that would not be refused. Some had used it for this world and some against their people, but he had saved his for his intercession for his ummah on the Day of Judgment.
