This Companion, named in al-Bukhari as Mujashi' ibn Mas'ud RA, brought his brother Mujalid to the Prophet ﷺ after the Conquest of Makkah in 8 AH to pledge allegiance for Hijrah. The Prophet ﷺ answered that there is no migration after the Conquest, but that he would take his pledge for Islam.
