This unnamed Companion of the Ansar, at the Conquest of Makkah in 8 AH, asked the Prophet ﷺ why he had not signalled with his eyes during his long silence over Abdullah ibn Sa'd ibn Abi al-Sarh, and the Prophet ﷺ replied that it is not befitting for a prophet to signal with his eyes.
