Ummi Hani' bint Abi Talib RA was a daughter of Abu Talib, full sister of Ali RA, and cousin of the Prophet ﷺ, who remained on her old faith until the Conquest of Makkah in 8 AH. That day she gave shelter to two of her in-laws whom Ali threatened, and the Prophet ﷺ upheld her protection, saying, "We grant protection to the one whom you have granted protection." Hers is the only narration describing the Prophet ﷺ praying Salat al-Duha and its eight rak'at.
