Ummi Sharik RA was a wealthy woman of the Ansar who spent generously in the cause of Allah and hosted many guests. The Prophet ﷺ first told Fatimah bint Qays RA to spend her waiting period in her house, then sent her elsewhere because so many young Companions visited Ummi Sharik.
