These two unnamed men were envoys of the tribe of Jurash in Yemen, sent to Madinah in 9 AH to seek a truce, unaware that al-Surad ibn Abdillah al-Azdi RA was besieging their tribe that very day. The Prophet ﷺ told them that Allah's camel was being sacrificed at Jurash, and at the Companions' urging they asked him to pray for their people. Returning to find their tribe overcome and spared that same day, the tribe accepted Islam.
