Rafi ibn Khadij RA

Rafi ibn Khadij RA was a young man of the Ansar of Banu Harithah. Before Uhud in 3 AH the Prophet ﷺ sent back the boys he judged too young, and Rafi was at first turned back; when he was told that Rafi was a good archer, he let him go to battle, and then let Samura ibn Jundub RA go too, since Samura could outwrestle Rafi. Ibn Hisham gives both as fifteen years old.
