Nu'aym ibn Abdillah al-Nahham RA was a secret Muslim of Makkah who met Umar ibn al-Khattab on the day he set out to kill the Prophet ﷺ. To turn him aside, Nu'aym warned him of Banu Abd Manaf's revenge and told him that his own sister and brother-in-law had accepted Islam. Umar went to their house instead, and what happened there led to his Islam.
