Masruq

Masruq was one of the tabi'un and a student of the Companions who asked Aisha RA from behind a curtain whether the Qur'an's verses on the Prophet ﷺ's vision meant that he saw Allah. Aisha, who had been the first to ask the Prophet ﷺ about those verses, told him they referred to Jibril, recorded in Sahih Muslim.
