This unnamed Bedouin fought so fiercely alongside the Muslims at Khaybar in 7 AH that the Companions counted him among the people of Jannah, but the Prophet ﷺ said he was of the people of the Fire. Wounded in the hand, he fell on his own sword and killed himself, having fought for glory rather than for Allah.
