Ibn Ishaq names this dreamer as Juhaym ibn al-Salt ibn Makhramah of the Banu al-Muttalib, who marched with the Quraysh army toward Badr in 2 AH. At al-Juhfa, between waking and sleeping, he saw a man on a horse with a camel who named Utbah, Shaybah, Abu al-Hakam, Umayyah and other nobles of the Quraysh as slain, then stabbed his camel in the chest and sent it into the camp, spattering every tent with blood. Abu Jahl mocked him as another prophet from the Banu al-Muttalib. The men he named were killed at Badr.
