This unnamed man was one of the hypocrites on the Tabuk expedition in 9 AH who, when the Prophet ﷺ's camel went missing, sneered that a man claiming revelation did not know where his own camel was. The Prophet ﷺ said he knew only what Allah told him, and that Allah had just told him where it was, and it was found there. The hypocrite was thrown out of his unit.
