These unnamed men were the delegation of Himyar from Yemen who came to Madinah in 9 AH to announce their Islam. They accepted the glad tidings Banu Tamim had refused, and asked how creation began, and the Prophet ﷺ told them, "There was Allah, and there was nothing before Him," in the hadith narrated by Imran ibn Husayn RA.
