The Dajjal

The Dajjal is the false messiah of the end of time, one of the greatest trials the world will see. The Prophet ﷺ saw him on the night of al-Isra wal-Mi'raj and described him as one-eyed, his left eye like a rotten grape, something no earlier prophet had told his people. He said the Dajjal will be unable to enter Madinah, which angels will guard, and that Isa AS will kill him. In 9 AH the Prophet ﷺ related Tamim al-Dari RA's account of a chained man on an island who called himself al-Masih, a hadith a small minority of scholars have questioned.
