The Christian delegates of Najran were a delegation of sixty men, among them nobles, bishops and a patriarch, sent to Madinah in 9 AH, the Year of Delegations, from the Christian province of Najran with ties to the Roman emperor. The Prophet ﷺ let them pray in his masjid, and over several days of debate about Isa AS and Ibrahim AS the opening of Surah Ali Imran was revealed. When the verse of mubahala invited both sides to call down Allah's curse on whoever was lying, they declined and accepted the jizya, asking for a judge, and the Prophet ﷺ sent Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah RA with them.
