Al-Huwayrith ibn Nuqaydh was a man of Makkah, one of those who insulted the Prophet ﷺ there (Ibn Ishaq); by another report he harassed the Prophet ﷺ's daughters Fatima RA and Umm Kulthum RA as al-Abbas was taking them to Madinah, so that they fell from their mount. At the Conquest of Makkah in 8 AH he was among the handful excluded from the amnesty, and Ali ibn Abi Talib RA killed him.
