البـراء بن معرور
Al-Bara ibn Ma'rur RA was one of the men of Yathrib at the Second Pledge of Aqaba the year before the Hijrah. When the Prophet ﷺ asked for their protection as they protected their own, al-Bara answered at once that they were experienced in war and would protect him, and asked him to stretch out his hand for the pledge, a hasty answer that came from faith.
