Abu Rafi' RA

Abu Rafi' RA was a Companion who took part in the campaign of Khaybar in 7 AH and narrated one of its best-known moments. In the fighting at one of the fortresses, Ali ibn Abi Talib RA lost his shield. Left defenseless, he went to the fortress gate, a massive structure, and used the whole door as his shield for the rest of the battle, throwing it aside when the fighting ended. Abu Rafi' said, "Seven of us tried to pick up the door, but we were not able to pick it up." It is counted as a karamah that Allah granted Ali.
