Abu Amir RA

Abu Amir al-Ash'ari RA was the uncle of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari RA, struck by a javelin in the fighting after Hunayn in 8 AH. Dying, he asked Abu Musa to give the Prophet ﷺ his salam and request his prayers. The Prophet ﷺ made wudu and prayed with raised hands that Allah forgive Abu Amir and raise his ranks among the Illiyin, and prayed for Abu Musa too.
