Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa RA

Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa RA was a Companion who, decades after the Prophet ﷺ's death, wrote to the Companions fighting the Khawarij to relate what the Prophet ﷺ had said on the Night of the Ahzab: not to wish to meet the enemy, but when forced to fight to be patient, since Jannah lies under the shade of swords, followed by his du'a for victory.
