Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Aqil RA was a Companion known through a single hadith. He came with a delegation despising the man they were forced to see, and left with no one more beloved to them. He narrated that when asked why he did not seek a kingdom like Sulayman AS, the Prophet ﷺ said every prophet had one request that would not be refused, and he had kept his as intercession for his ummah on the Day of Judgment.
